Element Designs creates signature architectural elements for commercial, residential, and public spaces: water features, pools, wellness spaces, shade structures, green walls, and sculpture. Since 1996, we have designed, engineered, and fabricated every piece, coordinated its installation, and supported it for years after.
About half of the studio's work is design consulting for architecture and engineering firms: the drawings you approve are the drawings we build.
We are honored to have contributed to award-winning projects recognized by the AIA, ASLA, ULI, SARA, and the Chicago Athenaeum, from the 9/11 Memorial to Bryant Park.
Design & Concepts
Our collaborative team transforms concepts into fully functioning designs. Using advanced CAD and 3D modeling tools, we create solutions that balance scale, proportion, functionality, cost, and visual impact, and we tailor the service to the scope of each project.
Fabrication
Our team combines metal and stone mastery: laser welding, forming, cutting, and masonry. With 100,000+ square feet of facilities, an R&D lab, and 60+ years of collective expertise, we deliver precision craftsmanship for projects of any complexity.
Construction
Our project managers and engineers collaborate with the trades, guiding methods and execution. They come to site for meetings, installation coordination, final adjustments, and start-up, and they coordinate every step from first assembly to final implementation.
Design-Build
One team carries the project start to finish. Our design-build group serves as a single point of contact, overlaps design and construction phases rather than running the traditional design-bid-build sequence, and coordinates qualified contractors for seamless execution.
